29th Annual Jack Demmer Golf Outing

29th Annual Jack Demmer Ford Golf Outing

No doubt about it, 2020 was a tough year for everyone.  Not a single person was able to escape the pressure put on us by Covid-19.  But through it all the Canton Police were there to serve our community.

Each day they were on the front lines.  Now it’s time for us to give back.

Each year the Canton Community Foundation hosts its charity golf outing which benefits the Canton Police Benevolence Fund.  Funds raised are used to support the families of officers who are injured or killed in the line of duty as well as offer assistance to residents in critical need.  Your sponsorship dollars have helped residents struggling with food insecurity, transportation in order to keep their jobs, basic human needs following house fires, and so much more.  This fund is also used to help local students through the Canton Police Benevolence annual scholarship.

If you have ever thought, “how can I help?” this is how!

Click here to learn more about joining us on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 for our 29th annual event and about how you can sponsor this event and learn about the benefits that comes with each category of sponsorship.

When a group of military veterans wanted to create a memorial park in the heart of Plymouth, they came to the Canton Community Foundation to act as a fiscal sponsor for the project and create a fund to manage the property and market the memorial brick program. Now, 25 years later, this beautiful park on the corner of Main Street and Church Street is home to more than 1000 bricks purchased by families to memorialize their loved ones’ service to our country.
