Their first event was their annual "Christmas in July" celebration. Attendees were asked to bring some unopened bags of food to be given to the The Wayne-Westland Salvation Army to help spread a little Christmas cheer to those who might need it!

 

The first event with their new partnership with the Local Impact Alliance was a great success and will help them continue to grow and provide assistance to Westland organizations and students.

 

Since 1996, the Westland Community Foundation has contributed over $1 million to organizations and student scholarships within our community.
