Giving Hope, Women's Giving Circle was founded in 2006. At that time, a group of local women philanthropists came together to establish the organization and encourage other women to join in philanthropic giving. Their early efforts were focused on helping in the local community, reaching and assisting women, children, and their families in need. For over 15 years, Giving Hope, Women's Giving Circle has been accomplishing that objective and continues to develop women's philanthropy and meet needs through fundraising and grant making.
Giving Hope, Women's Giving Circle is proud of its recently expanded Giving Circle area. Members now have an even greater opportunity to grow and share compassionate, diverse and committed efforts of philanthropy by making solid and meaningful impacts in more Western Wayne County communities. This a noble cause and our community legacy. We invite and welcome all women to join Giving Hope, Women's Giving Circle and help us to further and accomplish our goals!

This is not a certification class, but in just one session, you’ll gain the confidence to act fast in an emergency until help arrives. No tests, no certification stress, just life-saving skills every woman should have.
When: Wednesday, March 18, 2026 - 6-9pm
Where: Canton Public Library Community Room - 1200 S. Canton Center Road (please note: this is not a Canton Library sponsored event)
